The SPP Vision

The Society for Philosophy in Practice is a UK-based society which principally represents the English-speaking community of philosophical practitioners within Europe.

The SPP has held a number of courses and events to promote Philosophical Counselling, Socratic Dialogue, and Philosophy for Children. It also facilitates an exchange of ideas via publication of related news and information. Originally founded as the Society for Consultant Philosophers , over the years the Society has explored a variety of different directions, from the popularisation of philosophy to academic publishing, but it remains rooted in the international movement of philosophical practice.
